According to the study, owning a cat has many valuable health benefits, including the reduction of cortisol levels which is an anxiety hormone that is produced naturally by the body. Scientists claim that cats help reduce the effects of such hormones, which has been shown to greatly benefit one’s health at any stage of life. Needless to say, a cat’s love truly is a powerful thing!
