When they brought this kitten home, she wouldn’t eat and was already so thin. Lilo the dog then stepped in and took over the motherly duties. He stood by her till she ate, and would clean her even as she got old enough to do so herself.
The girls saw how strong of a bond the animals had, and decided it would be impossible to separate them. Now, with Rosie fully grown, her and Lilo have taken another kitten under their “paws” and are more active and adventurous as ever.
